Alpen Lodge Berwang
A warm welcome!
Berwang is the highest village in the Zugspitz Arena in Tirol at 1342m. The nature is overwhelmingly beautiful in the winter as well in the summer. The location of our house is in the middle of the village, within walking distance of restaurants, two minutes walk from the ski slopes and the bus stops (free in the Zugspitz Arena). A beautiful hiking route leads you to the wonderful waterfall Rotlech! A little further away from our house you can visit one of the largest lakes in Tyrol, the Heiterwangersee. The Heiterwangersee is connected to the Plansee and is located at an altitude of 976m. Isn't this spectacular enough? Then you can walk on the "Highline 179". This world longest suspension bridge with a wingspan of no less than 405 meters, connects castle ruin Ehrenberg with Fort Claudia on the other side of the valley. An experience you will never forget. Do you want to take it easy? A wellness / spa can be found a few meters from our house. When you visit us we have a lot more to tell you..
Whether you are with us for skiing, snowboarding, snow walks, hiking, swimming, e-biking, golf, supping or other outdoor sports, it is all possible.
Our gasthaus has six new rooms, ons suites and we are open for childeren from the age of 10.
Every day we serve a delicious breakfast and treats. Naturally as much as possible home made, biological, freshly made from local products.
